Tiaan Koole
Head of International Tax
Tiaan Koole joined ICM in 2020 as the Head of International Tax, based in Melbourne, Australia. Tiaan started his career with ICM in South Africa, before moving to Australia in 2021. He has over eighteen years of international tax experience, working at PwC for over ten years in their Cape Town and Amsterdam offices. Prior to joining ICM, Tiaan was Head of International Tax at Sanlam for five years, covering the non-South African portfolio. At ICM, Tiaan is responsible for the ICM Group taxation, structuring and oversight of the tax affairs of the investee companies. Tiaan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom LLB) degree from the University of Stellenbosch and holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Law (LLM) and a graduate diploma in Tax from the University of Melbourne. He is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
